1. eligibility
Originality: all submitted screenplays must be original works not published, published or filmed on any platform. Participants shall ensure that their works do not infringe any third-party copyright, patent or other intellectual property rights.
Genre and length: accept screenplays of all genres, including but not limited to drama, comedy, sci-fi, horror, documentary, etc. . The script should be between 30 and 120 pages long (in an industry-standard format) .
How to submit: all scripts should be submitted in PDF format, together with a synopsis of the script (not more than 300 words) and the author's contact information.
Deadline: every year XX month XX date for submission deadline, late submission of the script will not be accepted.
Language: scripts should be written in English. Non-native speakers can provide English translations, but the quality of translations should be guaranteed.
2. Selection criteria
Creativity and originality: whether the creativity of the script is novel and unique, can attract the audience.
Narrative ability: whether the structure of the story is compact, the development of the plot is reasonable, the characterization is clear.
Dialogue quality: whether the dialogue is natural and smooth, in line with the character and scene atmosphere.
Market potential: Consider the commercial value and market appeal of the script.
Overall impression: the overall feeling and evaluation of the script by the judges.
Third, the award establishment
Best Screenplay Award: for the most creative and marketable screenplay, the winner will receive a bonus, a trophy and the opportunity to work with industry experts.
Outstanding Screenplay Award (Some) : for a screenplay that is outstanding in creativity, narration, characterization, etc. .
Special nomination: recognition of a script that has a unique style or specific contribution.
